Despite S&P 500 having 30 percent in growth the past two years the defense industry is twice as lucrative, "Dow Jones U.S. Aerospace and Defense Total Stock Market Index has grown at double the rate of the S&P, increasing in value by 60 percent." With the continued spread of the War on Terror it is unlikely such booming business will stop. Certainly there must be some in that industry of "defense" who have no interest in peace.
Montana Governor Steve Bullock just signed into law House Bill 320 which helps insulate their law enforcement from becoming tools for the Federal government and prevents bribing with military grade weapons. This trend of re-purposing military weapons to American police is part of the 1033 program. If bills like this were passed at the local and state level cross country only the National Guard or the military will use these tactics creating a more cut and dry picture of tyranny in America.
The elite are certainly more comfortable with the continued awareness the internet can grant to the population of police brutality, injustices that result and the false flag attacks that have promoted a slew of unjust wars overseas producing demand for such weaponry. The resulting upheaval of a corrupt government can only be suppressed by force, otherwise the will of the people may achieve some real change.
This article cites specifically from the law:
Section 1 of the new law declares:
A law enforcement agency may not receive the following property from a military equipment surplus program operated by the federal government:
(a) drones that are armored, weaponized, or both;
(b) aircraft that are combat configured or combat coded;
(c) grenades or similar explosives and grenade launchers;
(d) silencers; or
(e) militarized armored vehicles.
Section 2 sets additional barriers along the road toward federalization:
If a law enforcement agency purchases property from a military equipment surplus program operated by the federal government, the law enforcement agency may only use state or local funds for the purchase. Funds obtained from the federal government may not be used to purchase property from a military equipment surplus program.
The group Human Rights Watch has co-founded the Campaign to stop Killer Robots before they can be developed and has released a report to the UN. Harvard Law School also helped with the report that states "Under existing laws, computer programmers, manufacturers and military commanders would all escape liability for deaths caused by such machines." After what happened to Bradley Manning with the Collateral Murder video release and the absence of justice that followed murdering journalists and civilians, imagine how difficult justice will be with this possible reality?
Even scarier is this thing the EATR, Energetically Autonomous Tactical Robot. It feeds itself!? They say it is plant-based biomass feeding but how hard of a jump would it be to eat flesh. It already could and they list chicken fat as a food source. If it has self-preservation as a higher priority... Holy hell if this thing could replicate itself.
If you have seen the movie Screamers based on Philip K Dick's work then perhaps that is a clear glimpse into our increasingly dystopian skynettish future.
Drones have become a predisposed style of warfare today for the US military despite their clear shortfalls. An article by Paul Craig Roberts summarizes the book "Kill Chain: The Rise Of The High-Tech Assassins," by Alexander Cockburn.
Drones lead to indiscriminate murder of innocent civilians and even our own troops. Roberts defines the military strategy as more of assassination than combat.
The book contains failed reconnaissance provided by a drone in Afghanistan leading to waves of Navy Seals and Army Rangers taking fire despite a drone reporting no enemy presence. Older troop support spy planes have been phased out and when used outperform expensive drones, "The Air Force admitted that the 50-year old U-2 could fly higher and in bad weather and take better pictures." Lucrative military contracts and decreased personnel danger promotes the perpetuation of this failed strategy of drones. Pentagon data reveal a 75% mission failure rate, nonetheless the Air Force is forced to buy them.
Another twisted strategy is the use of assassination to attempt drawing high value target leadership to funerals which are then targeted assuming success of eliminating valued targets. The book opens with a group of innocent people willfully defined as enemy troops en route to attack US personnel, as revealed by drone operators conversation, thus they were blown to pieces. As far back as Vietnam an indigenous tribe was relentless bombed since motion sensors were placed in their territory.
Such a twisted strategy sounds effective only to breed hatred towards the US. Which is great if you want to promote business demand. Like how a dentist invented cotton candy. Roberts sums it up by saying: "What the US military has done in Afghanistan and Iraq is to create far more enemies than it has killed. Every time high-tech killing murders a village gathering, a wedding or funeral, or villagers on the way to the capital, which is often, the US creates hundreds more enemies. This is why after 14 years of killing in Afghanistan, the Taliban now control most of the country. This is why Islamist warriors have carved a new country out of Syria and Iraq despite eight years of American sacrifice in Iraq estimated by Joseph Stiglitz and Linda Bilmes to have cost Americans a minimum of $3 trillion. The total failure of the American way of war is obvious to all, but the system rolls on autonomously.
There is a great story of retired general used to fight a supposedly fixed fight with a high-tech deck stacked against him. The high-tech forces suffered a massive defeat. The battle was refought with further one-sided rules until the hi-tech forces could not lose, these details of the fixed fight were classified. Reminds me of the movie Pentagon Wars, based on a true story, where the failure that is the Bradley Tank became an overbudget joke in itself with a slew of insane and contradictory add-ons, originally being a light armored personnel carrier. The fixed testing was a fraud to make it "success on paper".
Will the burden of proof be a painstakingly accurate as the Bush administration's claims of WMDs in Iraq? Below is a great compilation of bullshit from that propaganda campaign. As Bush said, you got repeat things to "catapult the propaganda." These shameless lying demons even lie about the lies they previously made when caught red-handed! When revealed to be liars they play dumb so they do not come of as exploitative maniacal psychopathic manipulators.
A UN based arms embargo against Somalia was lifted to help fight Al-Qaeda. Brilliant. A recent UN report analyzed relations between Britain and Somalia claiming continued corruption is the predominant style of government operating there.
The report claims 70-80% of the weapons are being diverted to the open market. The current president Hassan Sheik Mohamud allegedly has an advisor, Musa Haji Mohamed Ganjab, who allegedly conducted arms deals with the militant jihadist group Al-Shabaab. They both deny any relation or role in these accusations. Al-Shabaab merged with Al-Qaeda in 2012 as announced online in a video. It's predecessor, al-Ittihad al-Islami (AIAI), was partly funded by Osama Bin Laden according to the CFR. Al-Shabaab has been behind massacres of non-muslim and blamed for "killed international aid workers, journalists, civilian leaders and African Union peacekeepers." The UN has done nothing to replace the restrictions just ask them to "improve its compliance."
Somalia's corrupt politicians known to support radical jihadists with arms are given guns normally not allowed to them so they can supposedly fight Al-Qaeda. The insanity doesn't stop there, involving nuclear waste dumping offshore and illegal pillaging of their fisheries.
Britain has pledged millions to "rebuild" the country which translates as neo-colonialist meddling to me. Recently a UK-based oil firm received the green light to drill in Somalia.
A little background history on Somalia is useful, as it is for the subjects of any news story. The government collapsed in 1991 opening their shores to some real pirates. Without a coast guard the fisheries have been pillaged by profiteers devastating Somalia livelihoods. Nuclear waste dumped offshore sickening its people. So-called pirates evolved from former fisherman to profit on ransom of 25,000 ships in transit to or from the Gulf of Aden. Those who participate in these ransoms live well and are revered in communities for their large bankrolls. The rate of recruiting and hijackings are accelerating.
Somalia has recently been deemed by UNICEF to have the highest child mortality rate in the world, 180 deaths per 1,000 births as of 2010 and worsening. The UNICEF report states "Six areas in southern Somalia have been declared famine zones." Furthermore, "Even before this current crisis, one in six children was dying before their fifth birthday. ... There is no doubt that Somalia is one of the toughest places for a child to survive.”
So there is some of the real story on what is happening in Somalia. Spread the word that bashing struggling fishermen is absurd.
Obama has ordered 3,000 troops to Syria to fight Ebola? I am pretty sure you cannot shoot a virus, unless we are talking about taking it like heroin. In that case you do not need troops, just a lot of syringes.
The article goes on to speculate connections to oil as a motive since untapped oil reserves happen to be offshore these Ebola zones.
Also the author notes that diagnosing Ebola accurately is difficult and they could be inflating statistics on the outbreak or exposing people to the virus who are not that deathly ill.
“I’ve been a journalist for about 25 years, and I’ve been educated to lie, to betray, and not to tell the truth to the public,” Udo Ulfkotte told Russia Today. Ulfkotte was an editor of a large German newspaper, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and worked for the CIA during that time. He has since repented in the apparent resurrection of the Cold War today, " it is not right what I have done in the past, to manipulate people, to make propaganda against Russia.”
Here are a couple videos breaking down the editorial control strategy of JP Morgan and the Council on Foreign Relations in the US. The CFR Shillary Clinton joked "tell her what to do." The master manipulators know how to weave strings together and who to attach them to and create their puppet show.
Here is Norman Dodd, former member of a Congressional investigation into the activities of tax-exempt foundations un-American activities. The investigation, and many other like it, were never completed. The material may be dry to some but listening to what he has to say would show some respect to an elder who has some real stuff to say not bitching about how far he had to walk to school.
This is no conspiracy theory as noted in a 1976 Congressional investigation, "The CIA currently maintains a network of several hundred foreign individuals around the world who provide intelligence for the CIA and at times attempt to influence opinion through the use of covert propaganda. These individuals provide the CIA with direct access to a large number of newspapers and periodicals, scores of press services and news agencies, radio and television stations, commercial book publishers, and other foreign media outlets."
"Yemen was supposed to be the success story for the White House," as the article notes. It was not. The War On Terror would better be called a War of Errors. As for some mistakes there is plenty of ground to speculate whether they were intentional or not.
The effort for regime change was meant to not involve sending in US troops and instead weapons, equipment and training. It is doubtful the public would have let another full scale invasion fly.
Everywhere we go to fight "terror" becomes a major migratory destination for radicalized Muslims, a lasting result of Cold War proxy war strategy. See the film "The Power of Nightmares" for a legit breakdown on the evolution via the tinkering of factions within the US government that got us to where we are now.
A renowned citizen journalism project released a report revealing "A large section of ISIS members suffer from sexual anomalies and brutal instinctive desire for sex, except for sadism and perversion."
ISIS fighters offer large dowries for local brides in areas they control and threaten kidnapping if refused. They appear to be into Viagra too. There are also stories of rape, slave auction, women having acid thrown in the face for not covering up properly.
Pretty scary stuff. Good thing we radicalized Islam to fight communism decades ago. It is really working out great, eh?
More charges to follow. They reportedly bragged about it later. They indiscriminately shot numerous civilians and faced 14 murder charges, injured 17 others and many other layers of crimes. Of course they are going to fight the verdict with more charges to follow after further deliberation. This is just what has been agreed on. The showed no remorse afterwards and were "high-fiving and slapping people on back as if he had just won a big football game." No surprise these type of results abroad in the faux war on terror with the epic police brutality regularly exposed towards American citizens. They all appear to be white boys, smiling outside after the verdict. We will see if the charges stick or quietly are dismissed later on. Here is an excerpt from the article:
The jury of eight women and four men deliberated for 27 days before convicting Nicholas A. Slatten, of Sparta, Tennessee., of first-degree murder. The panel also convicted Paul A. Slough of Keller, Texas of 13 counts of manslaughter and 16 counts of attempted manslaughter; Evan S. Liberty of Rochester, New Hampshire of eight counts of manslaughter and 12 counts of attempted manslaughter; and Dustin L. Heard of Knoxville, Tenn. of six counts of manslaughter and 11 counts of attempted manslaughter, the Washington Post reported. Slough, Liberty and Heard were also convicted of using military firearms while committing a felony.
This is unbelievable, for most people. I personally have read wild books like Jim Marrs' Rise of the Fourth Reich, on how the Nazi empire exported itself internationally knowing it could not fight physical warfare perpetually. I also know of General Smedley Butler, whose famous speech War is a Racket helps to explain how military is used as a tool for hidden agendas.
In the years leading up to WWII Butler was approached by conspirators who sought to install in America a blatant fascist dictatorship of 500,000 organized men that he would lead and undermine to office of president with new position as super secretary. He led them along, then turned around a testified on this banker led conspiracy to congress. Look it up yourself. Here is a public statement he released on his testimony.
Anyways, our government hired Nazis for their "brilliance" in NASA, MK-ULTRA mind control experimentation and more. Use your smartphone, don't be a dummy. Anyways, here is a lengthy article on Nazi's, some dead, still collecting SSI.
If truth would endanger troops then we shouldn't be doing this crap. I think the government is hiding behind the "troops" rather than saying their hidden agenda will be endangered.
This is the extreme absurd abstraction of a thought criminal. Don't believe the official story, then you are a terrorist. It was definitely not a stretch after the Patriot Act. Anyone dumb enough to believe the British Monarchy puppets we supposedly we fought to be free from, is a terrorist to the idea of freedom. Dissent will not be tolerated. As Bush himself said, "you are with us, or you are with the terruh-rists."
Here is a report with United Kingdom Prime Minister David Cameron's remarks.
Here is a relevant documentary on the shadiness of the 7/7 bombing in the UK, 7/7 Ripple Effect.
Here is an expanded and updated version 7/7 Ripple Effect 2.
Supposedly this will help fight ISIS, but as I have noted in numerous posts it is a bogeyman of US foreign policy promoting perpetual war for agendas not apparent to the average person. Even if this whole charade was truly portrayed then I don't think "it is the thought that counts" or "A for effort" will make it any better.
Pun intended and appropriate in this case... It is also ridiculous double speak to call this industry "defense." The English language is such a joke in the lamestream vernacular.
They are spending $1.3 billion a week in Afghanistan! What counter market can help people make a living and work together to be self-sufficient and sustainable without all this globalist NWO meddling? Perhaps something like Smart Fruit as explained here by Bill Hicks.
Would anyone like a heaping serving of reality?
Wag the dog! Great scene here with DeNiro and Hoffman. These wars are like if the fire department was sponsoring arsonists to justify their job and create a massive market.
Of course there is a slew of ignorant comments on Reddit debating whether this suppressed info would have helped, or if it would have made it to GW Bush's desk.
There was plenty of intelligence that was intentionally suppressed, as clearly make public by the heavily gagged FBI translator Sibel Edmunds, who explained in the documentary Kill the Messenger:
“1) Osama bin Laden was planning a major terrorist attack in the United States targeting four or five major cities; 2) the attack was going to involve airplanes; 3) some of the individuals in charge of carrying out this attack were already in place in the United States; 4) the attack was going to be carried out soon, in a few months.”
I really want to watch the Robin Williams movie Toys now. A previous article says they want a 7,500 aerial drone army in US skies. Reminds me also of the trippy possibilities of hacking from the Ghost in the Shell series.
