NPR shows strategy of funding rebels sucks

It does go as planned if you are keen to double speak and the problem-reaction-solution manipulation used to fulfill agendas contrary to freedom, democracy, etc....

Think about "Patriot Act" for example....

Obama declares perpetual war, violates UN Charter

Obama recently stated "We will hunt down terrorists who threaten our country, wherever they are... if you threaten America, you will find no safe haven." He spoke about pursuing ISIS or the abstract concept of terrorism. If treaties are the law of the land then this is in violation of law. But the corporate elite and their minions certainly are above the law in there ivory towers, or White Houses, wherever they live.

The article below , an op-ed piece, also notes the following:

Obama's war also violates the War Powers Resolution, which permits the president to introduce U.S. Armed Forces into hostilities or imminent hostilities only in three situations. First, after Congress has declared war, which has not happened in this case. Second, in "a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces," which again, has not occurred. Third, when there is "specific statutory authorization." Obama has not asked Congress to authorize his military attacks.

The article continues to argue that Obama believes it has Authorization for the Use of Military Force then points out that is a fallacy since that was for those involved in the 9/11 attacks. It would be interesting to see them use force against themselves, as in those in the government who may have been complicit in the attacks. There was another AUMF for Iraq based on the debunked Bush administration's claims of WMDs that also would be inapplicable for Obama and war against ISIS.

If there was a specific new AUMF for IS then Obama and Congress may be considered targets since they were funding radicals (cannot find the source for that ATM but correct me or send it my way if you find it. I used it in a previous post I believe). Regardless this article is interesting about how ISIS commander ormer al-Qaeda Commander: ISIS Works for the CIA (Infowars)

Recently a new wave of funding post-beheadings for "moderates" rebels has been approved [Wash. Post]
